Alpine Ai net Auxiliary Input Adapter Works like a charm

It works, with a tweak if your stereo is a CTA model., OK people, read this review, it may save you some time/frustration. This adapter works fine if your Alpine is a later Versalink Ai-Net Alpine model. You can set the Aux Input to On in your menu. If you have a CTA series Alpine, this will still work, but you have to do a couple extra steps. First, you need to wire in a switch in order to short the pink/black stripe wire to ground when you want to listen to the auxiliary input. You flip the switch to not ground the pink/black when you want to listen to radio. In the CTA's menu, you need to turn the Mute option Off. That's it, works perfect. Volume level from my Droid streaming Pandora was roughly the same volume as the radio. All is good for about $10.
Worked great for me!, Using this on my Alpine CDA 9805 and works perfect! Someone said that the metal will cause noise, I just wrapped the connections in electrical tape.
Vary Useful, I got it pretty quick. I love it, use it for my phone a lot to go into my CDA-117 that I bought used. The only thing I don't like is the part that plugs into the head unit feels a little cheap.
Better and cheaper alternatives, I bought this item and it worked fine with my Alpine. However, it doesn't work as well as an adapter that has an iPod plug. So I went to eBay and found a 5V adapter from a company called "deluxe-item" in Hong Kong. This has both an iPod plug AND a regular stereo 1/8" mini. The advantage of this setup is that you also hook this up to any 12v lead and ground which is activated by turning the ignition/acc on. Thus, it also charges the iPod. The quality was far better than I expected and it included an inline fuse. The only downside is that shipping from Hong Kong takes a couple of weeks. I paid $12.99 for the item. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that only had to turn the AUX on in the setup menu.
works great, Iphone headphone input for my old Alpine. Installed easily and works as stated. No static, great signal. We've used this in the past in other vehicles and it's always worked. (we use this instead of the iphone/ipod connector because we connect other stuff to it such as dvd players, laptops etc.
Work with Alpine iDA-X305S, I purchased this to use with a Alpine iDA-X305S reciever; the product works great. Make sure whatever cable you connect to this cable is well shielded or you may get a high pitch hum in you audio.
Amazing, inexpensive. And it works flawlessly., I bought two, one for each vehicle. I have after-market Alpines installed, and these are simply perfect. I did not even have to pull my radios out. I just felt for ports behind radios under the dashboard and plugged in. Simple! Clear Ipod connection.

Works like a charm, I was a bit worried at one of the reviews indicating a need to do some DIY wiring depending on your stereo model and age. I was okay and capable if I needed to but hoped that it was plugged and play. Indeed it was plug and play. Removed my stereo, plugged it in, enabled AUX on my deck, plugged in Iphone 4 (with iPhone to RCA adapter)and beautiful sound came out. I've been using FM transmitter for a long time and the quality of the transmitters just do not compare to output through this adapter.
Works great with Alpine CDA-9853, You really can't beat this for the price. Easy to install on my Alpine CDA-9853 and has worked well so far.

It's not the best quality, but for the price you can't go wrong.

Outstanding and Incredible!!!, After installing the XR4115, in my minivan, and inserting a 32GB SDHC card loaded (half-way) with about 150 remastered CDs, I am in awe. This product not only sounds highly superior to the replaced Pioneer DEHP4600MP, but has superior FM reception, and is much more user-friendly. It's very easy to use, with easy and obvious navigation of features and has the outragious ability to store and play all my favorite music without me having to tote my large CD collection around. I'm truly amazed at this product. Lastly the display and controls are perfect, modern, and fitting.
Good and Bad, Good sound. Easy to operate.
Bad display quality. Went black after 3 weeks of use. DUAL: get rid of display maker, get a better one and it will be good unit for a price.

I got the stereo in two days and installed it in my Hyundai Elantra 2006 in less than 2 hours.
Awesomely happy for a week..., I bought this Dual XR4115 media player with a dash install kit and wire harness for my Dodge. I decided to install the stereo head first then address the install of new speakers later. The install was a snap. I carved out half a day to do it but it only took about an hour and it was factory perfect. When I first turned the unit on my ears were in heaven immediately. I was awesomely impressed how they made the stock speakers come to life! Lows were much lower and highs were much higher than with the stock head unit. I enjoyed the improved sound so much that I decided the speakers can wait a bit. I drove around for about week ready to buy 3 more for my other car and gifts.

After about a week the face plate control window lights went dead. I cannot see what station, EQ setting, time, or anything on the plate.
Poor AM reception, Poor AM reception but otherwise the radio works fine. I no longer use CDs so the two digital inputs are perfect for me.
Poor display quality, I purchased this before there were any reviews up, so I had no idea what I was getting into. My specific unit looked factory sealed, but was missing the case for the faceplate, which made me nervous but I was about to take a long trip and wasn't going to wait for a replacement over something so trivial. The radio worked great for the first 2-3 weeks, and then I started having the same display problems mentioned in other reviews.
10 mins on...10 mins off, Works flawlessly for 10 minutes, then begins changing stations if on tuner, skips around if playing other media. Tuner does not pick up weak stations, plus when trying to tune in weak stations, you still hear the last strong station you were tuned to. Hope this is a defective unit, because when it works, BOY does it work! Replacement on the way........more to follow.
Good at first?????, When I first hooked it up it was perfect. Loved the look and sound. About a month later it froze up. I had to reset it as per my manual. Now, 2 months later the radio still works but now the display light is out so I can't see anything. Cheap piece of crap. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.....
Great at first, then disappointing., Alright so I got this stereo a couple of weeks back for my 1999 Mazda 626.
The first week or so it worked great, sounded great and was relatively easy to install.
One day however I got in my car and tried to turn it on and it wouldn't.
I checked all the connections and everything was in place.
I had a friend bring over her older stereo, same Dual brand just relatively older unit.
Same connections, hers worked. I don't know if it is just this model or if it was just mine, but I will return it.
I recommend if you are getting a Dual brand radio, don't get this one.
Better Than I Expected, I bought this unit because it has no CD but has the 3 major inputs that I wanted- SD card, USB and 3mm jack. The FM radio works really well and playing from the SD card also. The power is better than I expected. I also did not know that it has a remote control and a removable faceplate- so that is a plus. The SD card slot is part of the main body and does not come off with the faceplate.

This is the hands free speaker I needed all along, Here in my State it's now illegal to hold a phone while driving. It's OK to hold a cup of coffee, shave, apply makeup, read a book, talk to others in the car with your hands while driving, but to hold a phone is now a misdemeanor. WHATEVER! OK, end of political statement... I continue now with the review.

I've tried several different hands free options for my cell phone since the law was passed. First I tried using the speaker-phone option on the cell phone itself along with the phones voice dialing cabpability and a belt clip to hold it on the visor. This kind of worked, but the phones volume was insufficient and I had to yell at it to make myself heard over road noise at the other end. Next I tried a bluetooth ear piece I picked up from Verizon. It worked OK if I remembered to charge it and take it with me when I went somewhere. Often I'd forget though. I wear glasses and I kept knocking the ear piece out with them. The ear piece was always falling out, or was in the way, and after a couple of hours waring it, it became uncomfortable in my ear. So I started leaving it home most of the time. Then, my wife bought a new car with built-in bluetooth that worked so well I fell in love with it. But it was her car and my truck didn't have these new modern niceties.
Fine for phone conversations, not for music, Received this as a gift; while it works great for phone calls, don't be mislead by the description that it transmits music from your iphone. It plays the music through the crappy little speaker on the Jabra, not through your car speakers. I will enjoy using this for phone conversations, but still have to hook up my phone with another system for the music FM transmitter.
Couldn't get it to pair, Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) This sounds like it would be a great tool to use for the car. I could not get it to pair with my phone. In the packaging it suggests going to the website to find the configuration there. No such luck. The website got hung up. I tried a different browser and a different computer. Same problem. I had hoped to be able to give this a better review. There is a phone number I could call to get what I'm looking for but more than likely it will lead me to some call center in some third world country with a person who barely speaks English, so not worth it to me to call.

Works well., Basic Bluetooth speaker for the visor in the car. Pairs instantly with the iPhone 4S, Moto Droids, and even an iPad. Sounds good. Read the directions for pairing as it's a little different from what I was used to. Once paired it's great.

Handsfree!!, I was looking for different earbuds for my Iphone when I saw this Jabra speaker phone. I liked the possibilities of good clear transmissions without the expense of some sort of stereo speaker phone. The item arrived as promised and I love-love-love it! Easy to pair, easy to start using, although the pamphlet that comes with it isn't the most thorough I've ever encountered. With the passing of the new cell phone law in our state this is a great alternative to earbuds that annoy me and the sound is so much better. I liked it so much that I got one for my son who is on the road and on his phone all the time.
Jabra Works Great with Iphone Now that I read the online manual., I recently got this for my Truck as I use it every day and it does not have built in Bluetooth.

At first it paired up fine with my IPhone 4S.

However I found I could hear the ringer but could not get the sound to play through on a received call.

I was going to send it back however I read the manual online and low and behold I now know how to receive calls without having to tap the IPhone receive buttons while driving.

It is a simple move that I missed somehow.

It really has made it easier for me.

Where is it?, Ordered on Jan. 6, I still haven't received the ordered item. Perhaps the original ad mentioned that shipment would be delayed because it was coming from China or perhaps the moon, but I don't recall it. Works Great, possibly flaw, I've been using this now for about two weeks and I've been hit or miss. I'm using this to output sound from my tv to a pair of headphones and randomly sometimes when I plug in the headphones I only get mono sound from one earpiece. I can achieve stereo by pulling out the headphone pin a small amount but I find this a bit annoying. Other times it works fine and stereo will come out when I plug the headphones all the way. Not sure what the issue is since i've used multiple pairs of headphones and all have the same issue. I gave this a 4 because I don't honestly know if its the adapter or if its something else.

A must have for XNA development and PC gaming, I can't say enough good things about these wired controllers. Obviously for XNA development these controllers are a must have as it is the direct analog to the wireless Xbox 360 controllers. Not only does it make your life much simpler when making XNA games, it also works great with a lot of indie PC games. I don't play a lot of hardcore PC games, but my buddies do and they all swear by these controllers.

One game I hear it helps a lot with is Skyrim on PC. I love using them for the Humble Bundle games and other console style type PC games.
Great for a PC gamepad., I'm using this controller as a gamepad for my PC. I find it more comfortable than a keyboard + mouse combo for RPGs and some single player shooters like Metro 2033. It's defiantly comfortable, feels good in the hands and the joysticks have good feedback. The cord is a nice length for me, as it can easily reach the tower of my system. The nice thing about using an Xbox 360 controller on a PC is that a lot of games are compatible with it, and you don't have to manually map all the buttons on the controller. If you need a good gamepad, I'd recommend a 360 pad over a Logitech gamepad or something similar.
great for the gamer, You know the saying you get what you pay for?? Well I had a Logitech game pad(the cheapest one) and it worked just fine. It was not up to the task of heavy gaming. I am a huge fan of logitech products. I use one of their gaming mouses as well. If you are into Dirt 3, grid, Batman: Arkham city/asylum, then this is something you need. I still use a mouse and keyboard for all First person shooters, but for the others a controller for myself just seems to work the best.
pleased with the controller, I use this to play games on my computer. I just plugged it and windows did everything else for me. You can also download the drivers on the Microsoft website. For some games that don't have controller settings you can use joy2key or xpadder. They controller feels great in my hand and the buttons respond nicely. The wire is long so you can site far away. Recommend this controller to anyone planning to play PC games with a controller.
Great Controller, I purchased this Xbox 360 USB controller for use with my Windows 7 PC and it works great! I have used it on a number of different games including Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Bastion, and even Minesweeper. There is no need for any extra installation disks. It was plug 'n play ready. All the proper drivers installed automatically and to use it in game you just have to change the control options to a gamepad instead of a keyboard. All buttons can be used and the rumble works with the games that are compatible. Even the Xbox home button works if you're playing a Windows Live game like Batman. Physically, everything looked and felt exactly like any other Xbox controller. The cord is nice and long with a break away attachment near the end of it to help prevent damage if the cord get kicked or yanked out.

Short life, The product worked well for a few months then the music started to play on the left speakers only then not at all. The cable is as cheap as the price.
Adequate quality but took forever to arrive, This item took forever to arrive. When I got the package I realized why. It was shipped all the way from Hong Kong. It works well and seems to be of adequate quality, but nothing I'd call "sturdy".
Good aux connection. Feels cheap., Aux connection works good. Actually items feels cheap. My friend had one of these and his broke and got stuck in his phone. Cheap price however.
Great Item!, This item is great! I ordered five of these and they are all working as described, without any distortion of sound quality. I haven't had any of the plastic reels snap off yet, so they are not as flimsy as they may seem. The cord is long enough so that my iPod Touch does not dangle while it is plugged into the auxiliary jack of my car. The cable is inexpensive, yet functional.
So far, so good!, I bought this plug to use in my new Chevy Traverse.
Harder to use than it needs to be, The retractable function is a good idea, but poorly executed on this inexpensive product. You must be exceptionally careful when extending or retracting the cables, as they can easily jam within the mechanism. Pull too hard or too quickly, and you'll spend several minutes untangling and rewinding. You also have to pull equally from each side, which becomes a two-hand operation. I would have preferred a device that I can plug into my ipod and just extend the cable to plug into whatever device I'm going to be using.

As good as any transmitter these days, best value for the money!, I'm not sure if it's an FCC limitation or what but no FM transmitter these days is perfect, especially in areas with many stations. But this item retailed for almost $80 and is now available on Amazon at an extremely affordable price! That needs to be considered in the review. It's also a great item because it charges all ipods and iphones.
It works great for me, I live in Costa Rica, so my review is intended for people who live here, or are planing a trip to this paradise. There are not so many stations here as there are in the US I guess because the device works great! No static or interference of any kind, just the perfect sound of music!

The scanning feature doesn't choose the best station though, I rather find it manually, 88.1 fm is the perfect station here in CR for the Monster iCarPlay Wireless 800 FM Transmitter.
Static!!!, I just bought this and it is horrible. I wish that I would have read the reviews before I got this because each one that I've read so far is true. Nothing but static. I'm hoping the store I bought this from will let me return it especially since I paid way more than what Amazon is selling it for. Really disappointed in this product and I don't recommend it.

"I would not take this thing, if it lay by the highway", Monster indeed! This monstrosity is aptly named. As the other reviewers have stated, this product is inferior. Do not buy it. It is bad. Very, very bad. In fact, it is so frustratingly bad and overpriced that it should come with a government warning that reminds you not to use it as a garrote to strangle the person who was inconsiderate enough to sell it to you. Any retailer that carries this product should require its employees to learn basic defensive tactics to deal with crazed, garrote-weilding customers... Ahem. But we are above that of course...

I understand that a small minority of reviewers have claimed that their transmitter works splendidly. I am truly happy for them. I will not accuse them of falsehood or misjudgment, but I can only hypothesize that they have either by some fluke received a "defective" product which actually works (because normal product apparently does not), or else that they live in some special place with mysterious atmospheric qualities that are uniquely conducive to the operation of FM transmitters (however inferior).

Lest this review be dismissed as pure fiction or hyperbole, I will provide some empirical data. I purchased this product recently at a local electronics store (which will not be named for various reasons...). At the time I was in desperate straits, as the wireless FM transmitter I had been using for the past 5 years with good results (purchased for $50.00) suddenly and mysteriously stopped working. I had been listening to Die Walküre and still needed to get my Wagner fix for the day, so I decided to stop by the electronics store and take a look at what was available. They did not have much, but they did have this demonic device on the shelf. I looked it over and read the information on the box, and it seemed to be a decent product. But things are often not as they seem. This I learned too late. Acting rashly, I brought the box to the counter and, without reading any reviews (unusual for me, but we all make mistakes, right?), charged the $90.00 to my debit card with the expectation of promptly being able to listen to pure awesomeness coming through my car speakers.

Instead, what I got was static. I tried to use the auto-scan function, which set the transmitter to a random station. However, when I tuned my car radio into that station, the normal broadcast was coming in crystal clear. I tried this several times in different locations, with the same results. This thoroughly confused me, as the auto-scan function seemed to be specifically seeking out the stations with the most interference.
Look elsewhere, A truly dismal product. It doesn't work. Too light for a paperweight or doorstop. Too toxic to burn. It's certainly not a useful FM transmitter. It can't find clear frequencies even when they exist, and when you find one manually it can't produce a signal that sounds like "music". Much worse than the cheap one I bought at a discount store. I thought this one would be better, but it's just a repeat of poor experiences I've had with Monster stuff.
Cool design...that's about it, Ok so when I purchased this device it clearly was marked as "new" but when I received it, it arrived in a ziplock bag lol. I couldn't help but to laugh at the situation. I plugged it into my LR2 and while it did charge my iPhone 4, it immediately muted the sound. That was weird, also it's impossible to get the iPhone to play through your radio with this device. I live Jersey, but I will say when I traveled to Florida I was able to get it to work with the radio there, why? I'll never know.
Not as good as first generation, I bought this model because I up graded to an IPOD touch and the older generation will not charge it. The reception is spotty at best. It has too much static. The "find a station" feature did not find a clear station. There is a reason that the price has been discounted on this.
Don't buy this!, This equipment is really bad, the transmission is terrible, you can barely hear the music over the static.
Does Not Work, Purchased this item to work in my 2007 Toyota Corolla. I tried several stations but could hardly hear the music playing on my iPod. Tried the scanning function, but it selected strong existing stations that would not broadcast my iPod.

very cheap, the cord is very flimsy and small. it seems like it could break very easy. the picture makes the cord look thicker than it is.
Adapter, Item arrived on time and packaged well. It is what it is and does the job. Would buy again if needed and would recommend.
It's okay.., It works, but it is by no means the "best" option. Somewhat disappointed, but for some it may serve their purpose. For me, it was a flop.

Eforcity version works great with Garmin nuvi 295W, I am very pleased with this adapter. I am using it to connect the 2.5mm stereo output of my Garmin nüvi 295W 3.5-Inch Widescreen Wi-Fi Portable GPS Navigator w/ mp3 player to the 3.5mm input of my factory car stereo. I ordered the adapter from partner Eforcity and the one they shipped looks just like the photo listed by Amazon.com (note that other reviewers of this item have ordered from other Amazon partners and received adapters that look quite different.) The Eforcity version has the right-angle male plug with three conductors (1 tip, 1 ring and 1 sleeve, or two insulating rings). The cable length (not including 2.5mm-M & 3.5mm-F) is only about 1.5". This length is great for my application. The Garmin 295W has a small screen and is about the size of a smart phone. It fits nicely inside the compartment in the middle of my dashboard that houses the 3.5mm aux input for my car stereo. With this adapter and a 6" 3.5mm-M to 3.5mm-M I'm able to keep the total cable length short and the right-angle plug doesn't stick up making for a nice fit with the Garmin nuvi.
Wrong Item, They sent the wrong thing. The ends were reversed it was very inexpenive so did not bother sending it back.I put in another order thru amazon and got the right thing.
CHEAP > Not worth returning!, I bought this to use with my Sennheiser PXC 360BT because it uses a 2.5mm jack. I didnt want to use the original cord just yet.

First of all, this item is CHEAP; that' why I bought it in the first place. You're not going to get the item in a retail box but a small hobby bag.

Second, when I plugged in the 3.5mm cord, only the right side works. I wiggled the adapter wire a little bit to listen if the wiring is bad. And low & behold, the adapter wire is NOT good.

Third, when I plugged in the 3.5mm cord, all I hear is static (hissing). I am using gold plated cord too.

Forth, you get straight plug, not as pictured (which is good for me).

I finally found it!, My phone has a 2.5mm jack and finding headphones for that is so hard and expensive. I finally found this little thing, and only for .85! What kinda thing can you buy with .85? Junk, This adapter is not worth 1 cent. It only provides a crackly fuzzy sound through one side of my headphones. If you wiggle it around it eventually will work for a second. It reminds me of 10 year old headphones that are ready for the trash. Don't waste your money. They are a good price but a bad bargain.

worked well at first..., Ok so, great price,check. easy install...check. after about 3 months the damn thing blew for no apparent reason. I contacted BOSS to redeem the manufacturer's warranty, but because it over heated, the heat it created caused some condensation under the plastic cap after it leaked fluid and voided the warranty. Not cool.. It's obvious where the defect was...I guess I got what I paid for.
Does it's job, It does what it is supposed to do at a good price. No need to pay for a big brand name like RF for twice the price.
Works great, This capacitor works great. I was kind of confused when i bought my capacitor, so here's a tip on you're selection. 1 farad will handle 1,000 watts of RMS power. Which means this will handle 2,000 watts of RMS power. So you don't really need to worry about peak power, which is what i was thinking. When i got this capacitor installed and charged, it discharged after i turned my car off. But i charged it again, and it hasn't discharged for about a month now. So overall, this capacitor works great and is a wonderful addition to you're audio system.

Update: I've been using this capacitor for about a year now and it's discharged many times. Whenever it's working, it's great. But it discharges about once a month for me, and I don't want to recharge it all the time.

So I bought a Power Acoustik 5 Farad capacitor and i'll see if it works better. This cap isn't too bad, it just loses it's charge all the time.
2 Farad Cap, I am happy with this overall. The pieces supplied are nice, but geared for very thick wire. The connections are exposed & that's pretty lame (terminals & turn on).
The instructions don't tell you that you have to have power from the amp turn on connected, before charging the cap. Minor inconvenience. Also, their wiring diagram is off. It won't turn your amp on, so you have to connect your amp turn on lead to the cap's connector. But once you have that, using the supplied (nice addition) resistor, it takes seconds for it to charge up. It has an led that flashes while it's climbing & you can read the digital display. You should be 12.1 for the average system.
It's a very beautiful unit, too bad it's going to be hidden away. The mounts that are supplied are nice. You can screw it to the vehicle or use zip ties.
I've used caps before & aside from adding a reserve of juice, they filter the current. The price is cheap enough to have 2 farads. I just wish there was a cover over those terminals, yikes! I will say that the terminals are threaded to add covers to, but they don't come with this unit. If you're looking for reserve power for your system that will supply a clean power supply, buy one of these. Will your lights flicker with out it? Depends on your amplifier. I'd rather have a reserve of clean power to go along with the system.

"Slim" applies to cable only, I bought this cable with the intent of using it with my iPhone. I'm thinking that when they described this as "slim" they were talking about the cable outside diameter itself. I used a Dremel tool to trim the straight end's plastic sheath to match the metal connector's outside diameter in order to fit the iPhone. If you don't have a coarse file or rotary cutting tool, it may be more of a hassle, though. Otherwise, it works like it's supposed to.
Excellent Quality, Bought this cable about a month ago, so far no wear and no static or noise.

It is pretty slim and practical for what I used it (running it through my dash to my center console).

Overall, it transmits all sounds very clearly and shows no signs of even being close to burning out.
Great for Iphones, This cable is great for people with iphones with a case that prevents cables with larger heads to connect without taking the case off.
Great for the car. (Altima with TuneLink Auto), I used this to hook up the AUX port of my Altima factory stereo to the New Potato TuneLink Auto(Bluetooth). This works great as the angled cord doesn't stick out too far off the front of the unit, and I was able to push the thinner cord in between the unit and the dashboard. Audio quality of the cord is good. The 6 ft cord is nice as it give you some length. 3ft isn't that long, especially if you are running it in any way.
Works Great!, This works great in my car. The best part is the right angle side. I connect that side to my phone and the straight side into the Aux in and it works perfects. Before I had two straight ends and had to hold the phone a certain angle. This allows you to move the phone around.

Outstanding Bass Speaker, Great bass, sounds good with blueray, tv, radio and cds. It sounds great even at low volume. I live in a two story house and with the volume on low the bass goes right through the floor onto the second floor. The first time I did this I had to check the volume to see if it was too loud for the neightbors. It is an outstanding product for a great price.
Polk Audio PSW10 Subwoofer, We purchased the Polk Audio sub-woofer about a month ago and are very happy with the performance. We enjoy action adventure and science fiction and the subwoofer brings deep bass action to life. This was a replacement to a failed Cambridge Soundworks Basscube 12 that would have been several hundred dollars to replace. I am sure that a true audio expert could tell the difference but I cannot.
Can't beat the price, I bought this after my KEF subwoofer clitched out and also after I did alot of research. I knew before I bought it that it wasn't going have the same "boom" as the KEF, but I was looking for a good value sub for my surround sound. This fits the bill!!! Good tight sound for a small to medium size room. Definitely, work on the position and settings of the Polk Sub and your Receiver.

A good subwoofer, I have Polk Audio TSi100 speakers for my stereo system. They are good speakers, but I'd like to add more bass sound on my system. So I bought this subwoofer. Until now, I'm satisfied with this. Easy to set up, and easy to control. And plenty of bass! When using this subwoofer, you don't have to volume high up. Even with a little volume, it makes enough bass. I'd like to recommend it.
Impressive, This sub is simply amazing. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I'm very picky about sound quality. Simple but Great Subwoofer, I needed a subwoofer to pair with my KRK Rockit 5 studio monitors, and this subwoofer does a great job.
It's aesthetic appearance is classy, and it packs a solid punch. Even with my EQ tweaked to tons of bass, the bass produced remains clear up to about 85% volume and then only a slight distortion after that. The only drawback for me was that the speaker outs are designed for home audio but that's quickly fixed with an adapter.

Good product., I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and he loves it. He drives a big truck, and the CD player is pretty far from the driver's seat, so the remote is a great thing for him to have.
SO GOOD, I love this stereo. Mine got stolen before, and so the removable faceplate on this one is perfect. Great sound, love the display. Only thing I wish it didn't do is say: "DUAL ILLUMINATION" and stuff after I'm driving for a while.
Great Product., This system is amazing, I bought it for my husband, to listen to music all day long (he's in the transport business) he is on the road all day most days, so far he has no problems. he says the sound is clear and plays mostly flashdrives. Now he wants one for our car.
Fine radio/cd player, Installed it today. Works great and install went smoothly. Highly recommended and a great price, too. Wish the 'sleeve' Sony provided had more room for error. I was making a custom console and the size of the hole the unit fits into is critical. Something Sony could do better. I've seen this same unit on sale for 50% more elsewhere.
Good Price, Easy to install. Very nice player. Better than the factory player. Fast delivery. Came faster than original shipping date. We did need to get another face plate as the player is smaller than the one taken out of the 2006 truck.
Excellent choice but doesn't work with Iphone 4S, I drive an '02 Sentra and it had the factory stereo. This was an excellent upgrade! It looks great and has good features. The sound is also really good--it makes me want to upgrade my speakers next. The only bummer was that it isn't compatible with iPhone 4S. I can play music through the auxiliary jack but not the USB. I wish I knew that before I bought and installed it, but honestly it's not that big of a deal. The USB will still charge my iPhone but I won't play any music, I wanted to use it to play Mog or Pandora.

A few people have reported that it's hard to see the display during daylight but I can see it just fine on mine.

I also can't remove the faceplate... I think it might have something to do with the way it's installed in my car. It's kind of recessed back into the black bracket thingie so I can't grasp it to pull it off. But I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Overall, despite the USB and faceplate issues, I'm very happy with this stereo and it made me enjoy my car again.
SONY Radio recently purchased, I recently received a SONY Radio which I purchased from Amazon.com. The radio arrived intact in its' packaging and I had it installed by a professional installer. The sound was remarkably better than my previous radio and I was able to also play an Ipod along with my CD changer. The faceplate was detachable which meant I didn't have to worry about the radio being stolen when I was not in the car. I am now able to enjoy great sound and have the peace of mind to know that to know that my car will not be broken into by someone who is intent on stealing the radio.
RV radio, Hasn't been installed due to the cold weather. Sure we will be happy with it. Arrived in plenty of time for Christmas.
Sony....., I have always like Sony car radios and this one is no exception. The iPod interface works perfectly and with the remote it was a great upgrade on my sailboat.
Fantastic, This was one of my christmas presents from my parents and I absolutely love it. I have an Infiniti and I looks great inside my car, and sounds even better.
